Higan cherry tree. This weeping cherry tree can be grown in
zones four through eight, and produce an abundance of lovely
pink to white flowers. They prefer full sun and well-drained
soil. This weeping cherry tree will grow to a height of twenty
to thirty feet and a mature spread of fifteen to twenty-five
feet.
Another
beautiful weeping cherry tree is the ‘snow fountains’.
These weeping cherry trees are hardy in zones five through
eight. Somewhat smaller, these weeping cherry trees will only
grow to a height of eight to fifteen feet with a mature spread
of six to eight feet. They will bloom best in full sun and
well-drained soil as well. This weeping cherry tree is slow
growing and the branches will often reach the ground.
